Since November 2018, Ministry International Institute (MII), in partnership with Bishop Wandera Paul, has helped launch more than 20 small businesses in Uganda. Our vision is to empower communities in impoverished regions by creating sustainable sources of income that will eventually eliminate dependence on outside donations and enable local ministries to support themselves while advancing the Gospel.

These businesses may be simple by Western standards, but they provide essential goods, services, and employment opportunities in communities where resources are extremely limited. Current projects include community stores, school sweater manufacturing, carpentry shops, and the production of wooden benches for schools and churches.

MII provides the initial startup funds and supplies needed to launch each business. Once the business becomes established and profitable, the funds are repaid and used to help start additional businesses in other communities. This creates a cycle of growth, empowerment, and self-sufficiency that continues to impact lives for years to come.

We call this initiative Ministry International Industry (MII) because it combines ministry with practical solutions that strengthen communities both spiritually and economically.
